How to Activate New Google Calendar Web Interface

Google recently updated the interface of its Calendar product.  At SSI, we have optionally enabled this new interface for end users until February 2018, when the new interface becomes the default.  End users can toggle between the old and new Google Calendar interfaces by doing the following:

1. On a computer, open Google Calendar.
2. On the top right of your screen click  Use new Calendar.
3. To go back to the old Calendar at any time, click Settings   Back to classic Calendar.

Note that certain third-party extensions and plugins may not yet work with the new calendar version, while others may only work with the new version.  If you find yourself experiencing a misbehaving extension, toggle between the old and new calendar interfaces as a first step in troubleshooting the issue.  Then call us if the issue persists.
