The Chrome OS, which powers all Chromebook devices, restricts Flash by default. If a Chrome device is managed by your IT department, allowing Flash will require three steps:
STEP 1: Identify the Flash-enabled websites you'd like to access, and email those URL's to Smart Sourced IT.
STEP 2: SSI will set up the exceptions for those URL's in the Google Device Management web portal (we will not be touching the Chromebook(s) at any time).
SETP 3: After the first two steps are confirmed complete, the Chromebook users will need to manually enable Flash for the affected site on their individual computer. To do so:
- Visit the web page for which you'd like Flash enabled
- Click on the lock button to the left of the site's URL address
- Click on site settings
- Change the drop down to the right of Flash from "Ask" to "Allow"
