So you have connected to a Wi-Fi network on your Mac, but forgot to document or lost the password? No problem! Obtaining a Wi-Fi password from a Mac is a straightforward and easy task.
- On your Mac, press [command] + [space] and type keychain access in the box followed by pressing the [return] key.
- Under System Keychains > System, scroll to and highlight the name of the network, right-click on it, and select Get info.
- In the resulting window, place a checkmark next to Show password, enter an administrator username and password, and the Wi-Fi password will be revealed.
